Registration and greeting of all patients, insurance verification and providing services to patients and families, nursing staff, physicians and assists other staff and areas as needed and appropriate.
Facilitates and ensures the efficient and effective operation of the reception, and if needed scheduling and medical records coordination.
Greets, receives and directs patients and families in a courteous and professional manner.
Requires the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse culture and educational backgrounds.
Demonstrates excellent telephone and organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize with follow through and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Office equipment and Microsoft Office.
Able to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment with few errors.
Requires a high degree of professionalism, responsibility, confidentiality and discretion.
Able to remain calm and effective in all situations and function as directed.
Functions as a team member to promote positive interpersonal relationships and maintain patient satisfaction.
