Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS), located within Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking a Team Lead to join their team of professionals, whose primary purpose is the management of staff and resources, departmental strategic planning, and ensuring successful implementation of both the inpatient EHR and diagnostic clinical applications.
The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of the healthcare organization and I.S. strategies in order to achieve Meaningful Use. They will be responsible for mentoring and managing less-experienced staff along with establishment and management of departmental budgets.
### QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor''s Degree or above
10 or more years in information technology serving as an Analyst, Project Manager or Lead/Supervisor
Familiar with all IT functions and services
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to communicate to all levels of the organization
Ability to manage and mentor less-experienced staff and administering performance reveiws
Abiltiy to manage small projects to implementation; delivering on milestones and benefits realizations
Able to analyze complex business and competitive issues and discern their implications for systems support and implementation
Budgeting and variance reporting experience
Willingness to live within commutable distance of Grand Blanc, MI
Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations

Qualifications:
IT experience in Healthcare
Ability to mentor less-experienced associates; previous Lead/Supervisory experience
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools

### RESPONSIBILITIES
Possesses a broad knowledge about the healthcare IT business including strategies, the competitive environment, functional processes and organizational dynamics
Contribute to strategic planning, including proposed cost implications
Execute on established plans and departmental initiatives
Be responsible for assigning work, monitoring work quality, reviewing output and ensuring that staff in the unit is effectively trained to successfully deliver the work including mentoring the team
Perform mid-year and annual performance reviews which include setting and monitoring SMART goals for associates
Management of smaller projects
Handle the Operational budget management, including monthly variance reporting
Will select tools and methodologies for projects and negotiates terms and conditions with vendors
Assist in developing and presenting various analyses (e.g. feasibility, cost/benefit studies, implementation plans and organizational planning)
Recommend and execute on process improvement ideas for more effective procedures
Communicate to all levels of the organization tailoring messages to the appropriate audience
Rotation of leadership on-call duties
