Senior Technical Analyst - HIE / Business Intelligence

Ascension Information Services (AIS) located at Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking an experienced senior level Technical Analyst to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities consist of working with vendors, clinicians, business owners, and IT personnel to provide technical expertise to support the implementations of a Health Information Exchange (HIE) and a Business Intelligence (BI) tool at Genesys. The Technical Analyst will also be expected to provide leadership and guidance on the management and delivery of technical information to support HIE and BI rollouts, effectively applying technical knowledge to solve issues and enable users to maximize productive use of clinical application systems.
### QUALIFICATIONS
3
years hands-on experience providing technical support for an EHR (Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager or Allscripts TouchWorks applications preferred)
Experience with Allscripts dbMotion or Optum One Population Health (Humedica) a big plus
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal communications
Willingness to provide on call support

### RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides technical support for the implementations of the HIE solution (Allscripts dbMotion) and the BI solution (Optum One Population Heath / Humedica) at Genesys, working with the national and local project teams to ensure successful activations
Responsible for mapping of clinical and administrative data sets to HIE baselines
Serves as the technical point of contact during the data analysis process
Provides ongoing technical support for the BI and HIE environments after implementationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
