Summary: /
Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for preparation of monthly journal entries, reporting, data analysis and Oracle maintenance.
Applies strong working knowledge of GAAP and SOX to daily work assignments to ensure compliance
Administer the Menlo annual bonus program
Manage and record complex allocations from multiple organizations including IT, Con-way Enterprise Services and Menlo Operations teams
Review and distribute monthly financial data to include, I & E statements, DSO
Prepare and submit financial information for board report packages
Control and manager the annual budget process and ongoing maintenance during budget year
Create adhoc reports for senior management as requested
Communicate with Menlo Operations Leadership to ensure understanding and accuracy of financial reporting
Mentor less senior staff as needed

/Qualification Requirements:/
/Knowledge/:. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
/Skills/:
Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel
Solid understanding of A/P, A/R and GL systems
Extensive experience preparing complex allocations
Strong background in analyzing complex financial data from multiple sources
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
Strong skills in business writing and editing; strong communication skills (oral and written); ability to communicate effectively with support peers, end users, and all levels of corporate management.
Strong interpersonal skills; participate in a team environment and build strong working relationships. Strong ability to provide mentoring and work direction to team members.
Demonstrated project management skills; time management skills; multi-task and prioritize work loads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems in high visibility, high stress situations.
Ability to receive, protect and maintain confidential information.

/Experience/: 5-8 years professional experience in a Financial Analyst or Accounting role.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
