Summary:
The Mgr-Pharmacy Operations manages the daily operations of clinical pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics.
Conducts competency assessments and coordinates training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.
Develops and manages departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees.
Education &
Experience:
Prefer 4 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required; master's degree in hospital pharmacy, MBA or other management related advanced degree is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Controlled Substance license in state of Michigan is required.
Licensed Pharmacist in state of Michigan is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
