Regional Director Labor and Employee Relations

McLaren Health Care is looking for a Regional Director Labor and Employee Relations
to join our team for the Lapeer/Flint Region.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the VP of Labor and Employment Law is responsible for formulating, recommending and directing the administration of labor relations policies and collective bargaining agreements. Serves as chief negotiator for designated collective
bargaining agreements and assists to develop, recommend and implement strategies for labor contract negotiations and administration under the director of the MHC VP of Labor and Employment Law. Develops and implements appropriate corrective actions necessary
in order to limit potential sources of employee conflicts and grievances, and improve employee relations climate. Manages day to day labor/employee relations for McLaren Lapeer Region and McLaren Flint under the direction of the VP HR McLaren Flint.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Under-graduate degree from an accredited four (4) year institution and minimum 10 years of experience in progressively more complex labor and employee relations responsibilities including meaningful experience in the role of chief spokesperson in collective
    bargaining process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-graduate degree and experience in the practice of labor and employment law; labor arbitration experience; administrative agency experience; health care industry experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
